Birchwood Lions Club was formed in
1988 and at present has 24 active members.
The Club holds meetings at the Cinnamon
Brow Community Centre Perth Close Cinnamon Brow,
Warrington WA2 0SF on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of
each month. Meetings commence at 8p.m.
We are a busy group and have been running local activities and helping with public events. Every single penny we collect for charitable causes goes to those needy causes unlike many organisations.We run the car boot at Birchwood and marshal events such as Disability Awareness Day ,road races, local carnivals and processions. We also run school events, art and poetry competitions and organise the Remembrance Parade at Birchwood.
On the social side we enjoy, quiz nights, ten pin bowling, race nights, dinners out etc
Over the last twelve months we have assisted many local people with financial help. We have arranged trips out for disadvantaged groups and sponsored young people travelling overseas to help others. Some of our resources have been sent to help with world disasters.
