Birchwood Lions Club is one of thousands
of Clubs situated in over 200 countries. We are an active
Club with 24 members. We use our time and talents
helping the local community and also doing a little
to make a difference globally.
Are you interested in helping others? Meeting new people? Acquiring new skills? Cultivating lasting friendships, meeting challenges head on and learning a lot about yourself in the bargain? Then why not get in touch with us or better still pop down to one of our meetings. We meet on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the Cinnamon Brow Community Centre, known locally as the 'Farm Club.' You would receive a very friendly welcome.
Our motto is 'WE SERVE' and as an international organisation we have
donated millions of pounds to many needy causes and we have had great fun in doing so. Every penny that we collect for charity goes to needy causes. We pay a subsription, presently £40 per annum, which pays for our administrative costs. It is surprising just how much effect our fund-raising has both LOCALLY and more widely.
